Three commitments we renew every year

Open community sessions

Legacy runs community football sessions and clinics through the year, open beyond our registered families.

A club for the whole family

Siblings, parents and grandparents belong at Legacy. Events are built for families, not only players.

Volunteering

Optional, briefed, and never a condition of playing

No family is required to give time. When you do, every role comes with a briefing, a named contact and recorded hours.

    Say you are interested

    Email the academy office, or claim an open shift from Family HQ if you already have an account.

    Briefing & checks

    Anyone working near players completes the safeguarding briefing and any required background check before a first shift.

    Work a short shift

    Every role has a named academy contact, a start and an end. Hours are recorded and you can stop at any time.

    Matchday marshal · matchdays

    Set up, welcome visiting clubs and keep touchlines safe. Short shifts, clear instructions, a named contact on the day.

    Team parent · weekly

    Help communication flow between coaches and families for one squad.

  3. 03

    Kit & equipment · flexible

    Maintain the kit store and prepare bags for away fixtures.

  4. 04

    Events & camps · per event

    Extra hands for holiday camps, tournaments and community days.

  5. 05

    Skills volunteering · flexible

    Photography, design, first aid, admin and fundraising support are all valuable to the academy.

  6. 06

    Coaching is a separate route

    Volunteers support the academy around the session. Coaching roles are paid, qualified, vetted positions — apply through Coach with Legacy instead.
