Development model

We never judge a player by goals alone.

Legacy develops and evaluates the complete player. Seven categories, reviewed every term, shared with the family.

Technical
First touch, ball mastery, passing and finishing.
Tactical
Reading the game, positioning and decision speed.
Physical
Coordination, agility and age-appropriate athleticism.
Mental
Focus, composure and how a player responds to a mistake.
Character
Respect, effort, responsibility and how they treat teammates.
Habits
Preparation, punctuality, recovery and looking after their kit.
Wellness
Sleep, fuelling and availability across the season.
How it works

What parents can expect

Four moments repeat every season, so you always know where your child stands.

  1. 1

    Enter

Players are placed by stage and readiness, not by birthday alone. Registration reserves the place; a free tryout is optional, never required.

    No tryout prerequisite

  2. 2

    Develop

Every session has a focus and a standard. Coaches record what they see, so a player moving between team, private and goalkeeper training never starts over.

    Twice weekly

  3. 3

    Review

Families receive a written evaluation across all seven categories — strengths, the next thing to work on and what support looks like at home.

    Every term

  4. 4

    Progress

Players move up when they are ready. Progression is a coaching decision based on the development record, not a date and not a scoreline.

    Readiness, not age
